Ireland is also known as the Republic of Ireland.  It is located on the island of Ireland.  It shares a land border with Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom.  It can be a little confusing, but Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland is a sovereign nation.  That means that it has one government that serves the people and land in the country.  Northern Ireland is different.  It is part of the United Kingdom which also includes Great Britain and a bunch of smaller islands.

The Republic of Ireland makes up 70% of the island of Ireland.

This map might help to make it more clear.  The big, green part of the island is the subject of Miss Rebekah's video.  The smaller, yellow part is Northern Ireland.

Right now is probably not the best time to travel to Ireland, because of COVID-19, but in the future, you might want to visit this beautiful country.

The Rock of Cashel, also known as Cashel of the Kings and St. Patrick's Rock, is a historic site near the village of Cashel in County Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland. The oldest and tallest of the buildings is the well preserved round tower (28 meters, or 90 feet), dating from c.1100 @SteveAllenPhoto
